Faculty Engaged Scholarship: Setting Standards and Building Conceptual Clarity

The Carolina Center for Public Service (CCPS) at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill presents a white paper presentation featuring CCPS director Lynn Blanchard and Andy Furco, associate vice president for public engagement at the University of Minnesota.

Blanchard and Furco will discuss their Academy of Community Engagement Scholarship white paper, "Faculty Engaged Scholarship: Setting Standards and Building Conceptual Clarity." At this interactive session, participants will explore engaged scholarship through disciplinary frames of how it is incorporated into academic work with common principles and purposes.
