Michigan State University will host its annual Outreach and Engagement Awards Ceremony. The event will recognize recipients of several awards, including the Spartan Volunteer Service Awards, the 2020 Distinguished Partnership Awards, and the MSU Community Engagement Scholarship Lifetime Achievement Award.

The following are the recipients of the 2020 Distinguished Partnership Awards:

• Community-Engaged Creative Activity: Dionne O’Dell, College of Arts and Letters, with the 4th Wall Theatre Company for: 
  
  Sense-Ability Ensemble: Creating Innovative, Multi-Sensory, Interactive Theatrical Performance for Neurodiverse Audiences
• Community-Engaged Teaching: Shari L. Dann, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, with Annie's BIG Nature Lesson for:
  Teacher Leadership Development for Great Lakes Watershed Stewardship: The GRAND Learning Network and Annie’s BIG Nature Lesson
• Community-Engaged Service: Connie Sung and Marisa Fisher, College of Education, with Michigan Rehabilitation Services and Ingham Intermediate School District for:
  Spartan Project SEARCH
• Community-Engaged Research: Kyle Powys Whyte, College of Arts and Letters and College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, with the College of Menominee Nation for:
  Menominee Sustainable Development Institute Partnership

The following students will be recognized as representatives of the recipients of the Spartan Volunteer Service Awards for 2018-2019:
