Once the committee reviews applications, participants accepted into the Summer Intensive will receive email notification including instructions for submitting payment through the online registration system. Payments may be made by credit card, departmental accounts, or payment vouchers.

Registration Fees:  $450 for MSU participants; $550 for non-MSU participants (includes 4 breakfasts, 5 lunches, refreshment breaks, networking reception, and all teaching and learning materials)

Please note, onsite payment will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

If after you have registered, your plans change and you cannot attend the Summer Intensive, you have two options: 
  1. Send a substitute—You may substitute a colleague at any time with no charge or penalty; but please notify us at msu.ces.summer.intensive@gmail.com or call Julie Crowgey at 517-884-1407, so that we may make appropriate arrangements about workshop materials, group assignments, and meal preferences.
  2. Ask for a refund—You may cancel your registration and get a full refund without penalty if you let us know of your change in plans no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, May 16. This will allow us to make adjustments in our program and meal guarantees. Participants who cancel after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, May 15 will be subject to a $50 cancellation service charge. Those who register and simply do not attend the conference will be liable for the entire conference fee. Paid registrants who do not show up and do not inform us in advance will not be eligible for a refund. Non-paid, no-shows will be billed for the full registration fee.
