Integrated Milk Quality Extension and Education Programs to Reduce Mastitis and Antimicrobial Use

The project seeks to reduce the incidence of mastitis and antimicrobial use in dairy cattle. As the dairy industry continues to undergo increases in dairy farm sizes and labor force changes, the importance of the role of milkers increases in efforts to control mastitis. Led by Dr. Ron Erskine, the project is working with partners in Pennsylvania and in Florida. The role of JSRI is to evaluate the project. Learn more at:
