Barbara Groves is the executive staff assistant to the Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement. In this role, she provides administrative and executive support by coordinating and maintaining the Vice Provost’s calendar, preparing travel arrangements, planning and coordinating college-wide meetings and events, as well as other responsibilities to carry out the mission of the Office of the Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement. Barbara discovered her passion for working in education after serving four and a half years in a K-12 school district.  She furthered her work in academia at a community college for nine and a half years before joining Michigan State University.
