Da (Jane) Li recently joined the Office of University Outreach and Engagement as a Research Analyst. She collaborates with Dr. Jamie Wu and her team to develop journal articles focused on early childhood education and the impacts of out-of-school time (OST) programming.
Dr. Li earned her Ph.D. in Educational Policy from The Ohio State University in 2018 and is a passionate educational researcher. Her work focuses on educational policy, teacher workforce issues, K–12 student achievement, and early childhood education. She has solid experience in educational program evaluation and is certified as a What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) reviewer in Group Design Standards, Advanced Group Design Standards, and Single-Case Design Standards. Before joining the Office of University Outreach and Engagement, Dr. Li held research positions at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. Her most recent publication, Three-Level Hierarchical Linear Modeling Analyses of the Relationship Between Political Culture and Teacher Autonomy, was published in Education and Urban Society.
