Stay Well Counseling Line

The Stay Well Counseling Line is a confidential phone line in Michigan for people to call for mental health support. When a person calls, they are paired with a Michigan Stay Well counselor. The line is open 24/7.

This 24/7 hotline is for people thinking about taking their own life.

This hotline is for people who are deaf or are hard of hearing and who are considering taking their own life. This lifeline is open 24/7.

Michigan Warmline

This helpline is for people dealing with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse issues who want to talk to people who have had similar experiences. This line is open every day from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Michigan Online Support Groups

‘Be Kind to Your Mind’ Online Support Group

This online zoom meeting is run by the Michigan Stay Well Program. Meeting every Monday at 7 p.m., this group discusses unwinding, unburdening, and helping each other. Led by Stay Well counselors, this group is open to anyone.

‘Michigan Parents’ Online Support Group

This online support group is run by Michigan Stay Well counselors. It is geared for parents with children 18 and younger, and shows them how to properly support their children’s mental health. The group meets every Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

‘People Who Are Grieving’ Online Support Group

This online support group is for anyone who lost a loved one during the COVID-19 pandemic. Michigan Stay Well counselors run this support group on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m.

‘Michigan Teens’ Online Support Group

This support group provides teens aged 14-17 a safe space to talk. The program is run on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.
