This workshop will equip researchers with the knowledge and skills they need to make research accessible and useful to policymakers and civic leaders. Presenters from the Scholars Strategy Network will highlight when research is (and isn’t) used in the policymaking process and emphasize concrete steps and strategies for building relationships with policymakers. Participants will come away with new ideas for connecting their scholarship to policymaking and strategies for implementing those new ideas.
