Are you building up your community-engagement experience, but not sure where to "put it" in your professional materials? Passionate about community work, but not sure how to make that show on your c.v.? Then this workshop is for you. Together, we will discuss approaches and models for representing your community engagement work. Bring your laptops and materials (if you already have them, but it's OK if you are just starting out). We will work on your professional documents, including curriculum vitae, professional portfolio, biography statements, and more. Participants will leave the workshop with a set of approaches to put into practice, and resources for further brainstorming and refining their materials.

This is part one of a three-part series about presenting yourself as a community-engaged scholar in your professional materials and in your online presence.

Presenter: Danielle DeVoss, Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures
