Community-Engaged Scholarship Write-Ins

Since 2016, University Outreach and Engagement has partnered with The Writing Center to offer monthly, half-day write-ins for faculty, academic staff, and graduate students to focus on their community-engaged scholarship. On the first Friday morning of the month, writers are invited to spend three hours in a quiet or collaborative/chatty space. One-on-one consultations are available from The Writing Center and University Outreach and Engagement consultants, as needed. The Community-Engaged Scholarship Write-Ins provide a protected time and space for writers and a sense of community where writing about community engagement is supported and valued.
