Evaluation of iTEC iMath Program

iMath is an after-school math tutoring program for Lansing elementary and middle-school students. The purpose of the iMath evaluation is to determine: (a) whether middle school students enrolled in the Information Technology Empowerment Center's (iTEC's) after-school iMath program demonstrated greater gains in math proficiency over the course of the 2013-2014 school year than students in a matched sample who did not participate in the iMath program, and (b) whether the attitudes, motivation, and interest in mathematics of students who participate in the iMath program improved over the course of the 2013-2014 school year.
