Year of Global Africa

In the Year of Global Africa, we explore MSU’s rich history and connection with our many partners in Africa and throughout the African Diaspora through diverse scholarship, engagement, and activities. The Year of Global Africa is an umbrella under which all Africa-related programming can gather. It's an invitation. It’s a celebration. It’s a time for reflection and exploration. It’s an opportunity to learn and to teach about Africa and its influence throughout the world. Throughout the Year of Global Africa, MSU colleges, departments, programs, and organizations are all invited to work closely with the Year of Global Africa team to create activities and programs connected to our three core themes: global Africa, unity in diversity, and partnership.
