Kate Johnson is the administrative assistant of the office of Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), where she has worked since January 2016. Her responsibilities include coordinating GATE program logistics, managing office finances, and personnel hiring, as well as disseminating information about GATE programs to parents, schools, and communities in Michigan. Johnson also works with high school students enrolled in Dual Enrollment at MSU. She graduated from the College of Arts and Letters at MSU in December 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in English with a creative writing concentration.
