Emily Springer is a communications manager with Communication and Information Technology (CIT). Prior to joining the University Outreach and Engagement team in late 2021, she worked in the public mental health field in Oakland County, Michigan, serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders.

She has a background in communications and has completed coursework in advertising and public relations from Grand Valley State University.

Emily looks forward to sharing the accomplishments and successes of individuals affiliated with MSU through a multitude of outlets, including The Engaged Scholar magazine and e-newsletter.
