Patricia Mish is an editor with Communication and Information Technology. She edits the Engaged Scholar magazine and e-newsletter, along with other publications that support the initiatives of University Outreach and Engagement.

Prior to coming to Michigan State University, Patricia worked as the managing editor of a monthly magazine and as a reporter and editor for the Ann Arbor News, Kalamazoo Gazette, and Grand Rapids Press. She is excited about the opportunity to spotlight examples of university-community partnerships anchored in scholarship.

As a writer and reporter, she has covered K-12 schools, general assignment, health, the police beat, and religion. She grew up in the Chicago area and earned a B.A. in theology with the equivalent of a journalism minor from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
