The MSU Museum Educational Programs engage university and public audiences by developing and facilitating learning experiences connected to the Museum and MSU. Education activities at the Michigan State University Museum are designed to engage audiences, facilitate understanding, and inspire discovery.

Programs include: the elder HeART Tour program for individuals with dementia; Seal (Successfully Engaging All Learners) for -5 year olds and their families and teachers; Darwin Discovery Day where researchers and graduate students from all across MSU share their research and education with the public; field trips and tours for groups of all ages; and a museum docent program for those interested in learning about best practices relating to tour techniques and educational learning theories.
