[invited] Marsha MacDowell, “Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi: Transformational Force in African American Quilting,” chapter article for forthcoming book to accompany exhibition of Mazloomi’s collection acquired by the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture.”  [In 2022 I completed interviews with 16 individuals (NEA grants officers, founding members of the Women of Color Quilt Network, historians and folklorists who have insights into her legacy or whose personal creative and scholarly bodies of work have been impacted by Dr. Mazloomi.]
