MSU Museum/Nelson Mandela Graduate Curatorial Fellowship

With support through funds committed by the Office of the President to the MSU Museum to honor the conferring of an honorary doctorate to Nelson Mandela, one fellowship is annually awarded to an MSU graduate student to work for ten weeks at the Nelson Mandela Museum in Mthathta, South Africa, and another ten weeks at the MSU Museum working on projects of need for each institution or on joint projects of the two institutions. This year’s recipient was Michael Wilson, a Ph.D. student in the African and African-American Studies Program.
