Katherine Hagman is an assistant coordinator at the MSU Science Festival, where her work focuses on community engagement through volunteerism and interdisciplinary educational programming in the STEAM disciplines. Over the past eight years, she has assisted in organizing a multitude of festivals and events, including the Great Lakes Folk Festival and ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, where she is also the Volunteer Program Manager. Katherine earned her BA from Michigan State University in Art History and Visual Culture with a minor in Museum Studies. She is also a Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau Certified Tourism Ambassador.
