Michelle Snitgen is an academic specialist with the Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE). In this role she is responsible for developing, supporting, and advancing  academic community-engaged learning at MSU. She also serves as a resource and consultant for faculty and a support for students enrolled in such opportunities.

Prior to joining the CSLCE in 2018, Michelle served as program coordinator for the MSU College Coaching Corps and held positions as an active communities coordinator with the Michigan Fitness Foundation, a consultant with the State of Michigan King-Chavez-Parks Initiative, and the assistant director of the Michigan Campus Compact. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Interpersonal and Public Communications from Central Michigan University. She is an active member of the greater Lansing community as a non-profit organization board member, a volunteer, and a coach.
