Jalon Martin is a senior majoring in neuroscience at Michigan State University. He originally joined the Upward Bound team in the summer of 2018 as a TA, and worked his way up to Program Assistant II. In his current role, he assists Dr. Anthony by establishing curriculum, developing ways to improve student performance, and helping provide academic resources that the program can take advantage of. With the development of the Office of College Access Initiatives (CAI), he will also be adopting more responsibilities regarding office operations and possible new initiatives. He continues to enjoy his work very much and is grateful to have the opportunity to serve the greater Lansing community, and to work with Upward Bound and the Office of CAI.
